Little Miss Bryan was surrendered by an owner who could no longer care for her. She will need an active family who can keep her exercised and stimulated. Miss Bryan is friendly, seems to to well around most dogs, and is confident in new situations, including meeting new people of all ages. She has bonded quickly with her foster mom, so we expect she will do so with her furever family as well!
She will require some regular grooming to keep her curly coat in good shape. She also will need regular walks/exercise and a fence taller than 4 ft, because we know she has successfully conquered lower fences. Miss Bryan needs some social etiquette lessons (jumping on people), but should be quick to learn with the proper motivation (FOOD)!
She probably should not be trusted around cats or other small animals, but is currently living amicably with several foster dogs. We believe she is about a year old, 8-9 lbs. and fully grown. We are not sure of her breed, but think there is some JRT and Chihuahua involved.
Miss Bryan is very new to the rescue, so Stayed tuned for updates as we learn more about her.
WE ONLY ADOPT LOCALLY WITHIN A 2 HOUR RADIUS OF THE TRICOUNTY AREA. ***Exceptions may be made for seniors or hard to place dogs.
If the animal is under the age of 3 years old or has health issues, a vet reference is required which means you must own a pet or have owned a pet in your name.
Adoption fee of $440 covers all vetting including spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, microchip heartworm test and treatment if needed and any other medical that may be required while in rescue.
We only do adoptions on Saturday and not all animals are able to attend so if you would like to see a specific animal please let us know so that we can make arrangements for it to be present at the event. Event locations do vary so please check the homepage to find out where we will be this week. Please do not ask us to reduce adoption fees since all fees help us to cover medical expenses for all of our animals, some of which can be very expensive. Saving lives is not cheap so thank you for your understanding and helping us save as many as possible.
Please email lowcountryanimalrescue@ymail.com for an application.
