Born on 7/5/2025, Phoenix is about 15 weeks old and bursting with puppy energy! 💙 He’s still working on potty and crate training, and he’s learning to walk on a leash—and making progress every day. 💪

Phoenix may be small, but he’s mighty! He holds his own during puppy playtime, especially when chasing his brother Kraken around the house. 🏃‍♂️😂 After a good romp, Phoenix is always the first to curl up for snuggles 🥰—he’s got a sweet side that shines through once the zoomies settle. ❤️

We don’t know much about his parents, but we’re predicting Phoenix will grow into a large, lovable companion. 🤩 If you’re looking for a playful pup with a big heart and a growing personality, Phoenix might be your perfect match! ✨

OFR wants to be sure you and a prospective pet are the best match. We set-up meet and greets at the foster home to make sure it's love!

Additional adoption info

Each pet that is available for adoption is in a foster home for a minimum of 2 weeks after being rescued. This allows the animal to decompress and show their true personality, which in turn helps us find their best match.

Based in Rochester, NY our mission is to help animals find the right person to love and care for them. We rescue an estimated 550 dogs and 330 cats, annually, and that number is growing!
