Hi, 👋 Kraken here,

Born on 7/5/2025, Kraken is about 15 weeks old and full of puppy charm! 💙 He’s still working on potty and crate training and he continues to make progress. 💪 He has been going for walks and is doing better on the leash. Kraken loves to play with his sibling, Phoenix, and their favorite game is chasing 🏃‍♂️ 🏃‍♂️ each other around the house! 😂

This adventurous boy is always the first to find an escape route 🫣 and isn’t shy about using his voice when he wants attention. 😉 He’s also a dedicated chewer—bones are his favorite, but if you’re not watching, shoes and window frames might end up on the menu. 🤭

We don’t know much about Kraken’s parents, but we’re predicting he’ll grow into a large pup with a big personality to match! 🤩 If you're looking for a lovable, energetic puppy 🐶 who’s ready to learn and play, Kraken could be your perfect match! ✨

OFR wants to be sure you and a prospective pet are the best match. We set-up meet and greets at the foster home to make sure it's love!

Additional adoption info

Each pet that is available for adoption is in a foster home for a minimum of 2 weeks after being rescued. This allows the animal to decompress and show their true personality, which in turn helps us find their best match.

Based in Rochester, NY our mission is to help animals find the right person to love and care for them. We rescue an estimated 550 dogs and 330 cats, annually, and that number is growing!
