Meet Bean. He is definitely very shy, and you can tell he is scared of people at first. However, once you give him the time and space he needs to warm up, he becomes incredibly sweet and delicate. Bean has a gentle nature, and he shows his affection in quiet but very meaningful ways once he learns he can trust you.

The process is quite simple! Please stop by and see for yourself. All animals are spayed/neutered, dewormed, vaccinated, and microchipped prior to going home. Adoption prices may vary to what is listed. Dogs under 6 months/under 25 lbs are $200. Dogs over 6 months/over 25 lbs are $100. Cats under 6 months are $50. Cats over 6 months are $25.

More about this shelter

We are a non-profit open intake shelter that serves all of East Baton Rouge parish. We strive to improve the lives of abandoned, unwanted and abused animals in our parish. We house approximately 400 animals at any given time. We take in 20-30 new animals a day. We are always in need of fosters both short and long term, donations, and volunteers.
