My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Snuggly, Gentle, Lovable Grandpa

Meet Mitsubishi!

This handsome orange gentleman is a calm, friendly soul with serious grandpa energy—and we mean that in the best possible way.Mitsubishi lives for chin scratches and will happily head-butt your face politely (and persistently) to request them. When cuddle time strikes, he prefers to be the little spoon, snuggling in close on his own sweet terms and settling in for a cozy nap. He’s affectionate, easygoing, and wonderfully pick-up-able—a true treasure of a lap cat.

Mitsubishi isn’t much of a high-octane player these days, but he does enjoy the occasional feather-on-a-string chase before returning to his true passion: sleeping. Mitsubishi is a champion napper who loves cozy beds, sunny windows, and watching the world go by. He’s also a polite conversationalist who’ll let you know when his water needs refreshing or when it’s clearly snack o’clock. Bonus charm: his tiny tongue sometimes peeks out, which is almost too cute to handle.

This toothless sweetheart enjoys smooth wet food and has recently discovered the joy of squeeze-up treats—life-changing, frankly. He has early-stage kidney disease, a very common condition in older cats, and is currently being treated for congestion with medication mixed into his food and gentle nebulizer treatments (which he tolerates like a very good boy). He’d thrive in a calm home with lots of snoozing locations, plenty of snacks, and humans who appreciate a mellow, snuggly companion.

If you’re looking for a gentle, affectionate kitty to share chill company, high-quality snoozles, and endless chin scratches, Mitsubishi might just be your perfect match.

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
