This sweet and loving boy is ready to bounce his way into your heart! Sparky is a bundle of joy who brings enthusiasm and affection to everything he does. His playful nature means he's always up for a game of fetch or a fun romp in the yard. Sparky has a special fondness for smaller dog friends and would love to have a canine companion to share his adventures with. Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

Visit the facility via scheduled appt. and meet the the dog. If all seems like a good fit, the dog can go home on this day!

More about this rescue

Highland Lakes Canine Rescue was founded in 1999 as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization by a group of folks who wanted to rescue homeless dogs from the Central Texas region and care for their health, rehabilitation and then to ultimately find these dogs a forever home uniting them with a newly adopted family. Initially HLCR started out as a foster only organization but over the 17 years has grown into it's own location with a kennel facility, outdoor pens, walking trails and staff and resident caretaker. An active and passionate group of staff and volunteers works tirelessly supporting HLCR and its mission.
