My name is Summer!

Hi I’m Summer!

I’m sunny, bright, fun and everything else you love about the best time of the year!

I think in another life I was a nanny because I love little kids and adults of all ages. I roll over for belly rubs, watch them play with toys and am one of the most gentle girls you’ll ever meet. I would love to join a big, big family and get to be a part of the day to day routine.

I’m very well behaved. I don’t make any noise in my crate, in fact I find it very peaceful to nap in. I may “attempt” to chase a squirrel or two but it’s really just for some comic relief. Me, run? No thanks! I’m working on my leash skills (slip lead trained!) and really enjoy going on walks. I want to sniff everything and anything so be patient with me!

I love to go anywhere you’re going. The car, restaurant patios, sporting events, anywhere I can be with you is a good place for me. I’ve even gone camping in my foster's RV and let me tell you, it’s so fun! When I get really happy I’ll start to do little twirls and jumps. My mom calls it “ballerina time”. I’ll do anything you ask me to do, like participating in bath time or giving you space during meals. I truly do aim to please. I will need you help learning what boundaries mean and listening to your commands - don’t stress, I’m a quick learner!

My dream life is in a house or apartment with a family that has lots of kids. The one thing I’d politely ask it doesn’t have? Cats. I really don’t like them and may feel the need to chase them down and tell ‘em how I really feel!

I’m a lover, a giver and one of the sweetest girls you’ll ever meet. I can't wait to share my love with you!
