Rose has lived a very loved, but very up & down life. She’s spent most of her teenage and adult years in and out of the shelter while her owner experienced homelessness. She found safety and warmth in a loving foster home, but is looking for a cozy, loving place to spend her senior years.
Her favorite thing to do? Nap. This girl can cuddle up just about anywhere and snooze her heart out. She’s very confident and is happiest hanging out on her own or with a few humans by her side. She doesn’t need a lot of attention, if anything, she asks that you grant her plenty of alone time!
Now, Rose has lived many lives and has figured out her likes and most importantly, her dislikes. The latter includes other animals, including cats and dogs, and would do best in a home where she isn’t bothered by the presence of other four-legged friends. She would do well in a house with just humans, and loves the company & attention of both adults and children!
While she doesn’t like to go on very long walks, she does enjoy a leisurely stroll. She will revert to her youth and will bust out some high-speed energy to try to catch a squirrel, so be prepared! She likes sunbathing, getting bubble baths, being fed and napping in a box (really!).
Rose is looking for a home without many stairs due to her joints, and needs a family that won’t try to over feed her. She loves food but she loves keeping a lean, healthy body even more.
Let’s find Rose a home where she can feel loved, safe and cared for throughout her golden years.
