My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🐾 Meet Yukon – Fun-Loving, Social, and Full of Love! 🐾

Yukon is a gorgeous black Rottweiler mix with a heart as big as her smile. This 4-year-old sweetheart is fully vetted, weighs 61 lbs, kid-friendly, and absolutely loves being around people. Her brother Tahoe is also still looking for a home. She’s the kind of dog who will greet you with a wagging tail and a happy face every single time. 🖤

Yukon is very social and gets along wonderfully with other dogs — in fact, her best friend and rescue roommate is the sweet young Tux, and the two of them are inseparable. Whether it’s playing, exploring, or just snuggling together, Yukon loves having a furry buddy by her side.

She’s a very active girl who would thrive in a home where she can run, play, and go on adventures. From hikes to fetch sessions, Yukon is always ready for fun and loves being part of the action.

While she adores dogs and people, we haven’t cat-tested her yet, so we’re not sure how she would do with our fuzzy feline friends — but testing can be done upon request.

Some of Yukon’s cutest qualities include her playful energy, her gentle kisses, and the way she tilts her head when she’s curious about something — it’s impossible not to fall in love with her! 🥰

After spending her time in rescue, Yukon is ready to find a forever home where she can have all the love, attention, and adventures she deserves. Could that be with you?

More about this rescue

Journey's Legacy is a small rescue in Cleveland, TN. We save dogs from the local shelter, off the streets, and occasionally owner surrenders if there is room or an urgent need. We have dogs in foster homes, boarding facilities, and the ranch. We specialize in medium to large breed dogs. We are working hard to get laws to change to require pet owners to spay and neuter their pets to stop the overpopulation of animals.
