Are you looking for that man who finally gets you, the one who will make you forget all the others, and who will whisk you off your feet with the four words you've always wanted to hear: "Will you adopt me?"
Then have we got a rugged, football-playing type for you! Meet Travis. He doesn't have a last name, but if he did, it would start with a K. He came to us with Taylor, but don't worry, she's only his sister (and she's been adopted). He's about a year old, and while there's no denying he's gorgeous, he has an amazing personality to match. He's always happy, positive and encouraging with a smile that will make you swoon. He loves to romp around and dig holes like men do and toss the pigskin around (he can even catch a ball in his mouth!), so he definitely needs an active home with lots of room to run and play. Travis is a great hugger and kisser to boot! He may get so excited that he'll literally sweep you off your feet if you put yourself down at his level, so tiny kids who are easily knocked down may not be the best fit. He's good with other dogs, but likes to chase cats. He may have some separation anxiety, so needs a patient home that can work through that. Travis is neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccines.
Apply to adopt your new best friend at www.secondchanceas.org/adopt or at the sanctuary any time we're open. Call 570-376-3646 or email secondchanceas@yahoo.com with any questions.

Additional adoption info
We are passionate about pairing animals in need with loving families who would best suit their individual needs. NOTE: You do not have to apply for a specific animal on your application. You can submit it as a "pre-application" for a certain size, age or breed of animal, and if approved, we can contact you if a possible match arrives at the shelter.
