Bunny was surrendered with her brother Tiger to the Humane Society of Imperial County by their heartbroken owner after he was no longer able to care for them. Bunny is 10 years old and at 50 lbs., is perfectly mid-sized. Bunny is a sweet, well-behaved and affectionate girl who loves people of all ages and gets along well with other dogs. It's evident that she has been dearly loved throughout her life.
Bunny and Tiger live in a Foster home, and we received a great report from their foster mom:
"It’s hard to believe Bunny and Tiger have only been with me for two weeks because they’ve settled in so beautifully.
Here’s what I've learned:
• Fully potty trained — not a single accident!
• Sleep through the night like champs
• Walk 30-60 minutes twice a day and do great on the leash
• Occasionally bark at the fence when my neighbor’s three large German Shepherds are out, but are easily redirected
• Great recall and know their names.
• Love entertaining each other with the ball
• Can roam the house for 3–4 hours with no destruction — and honestly, it could probably be longer, I just haven’t tested it yet
• Tiger will bark a few times for a few minutes when I first leave, but then settles
• Major cuddlers — especially with each other
• Love sleeping in my bed
• Both do well in the car — Tiger was nervous at first but now just curls up on the floorboard
• Eating their meals happily
Bunny and Tiger are the easiest, sweetest, most gentle dogs. They deserve a loving forever home together."
Bunny and Tiger dearly love each other and are ready to share their love with you!
