My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My foster writes: Blanket is a beautiful tortoiseshell who was given glowing reviews from her former owner. She is accustomed to living with many cats, as well as adult humans and older children. In the foster home, Blanket is friendly and enjoys gentle pets. She is moderately energetic and loves chasing after toys. She is food motivated and is an excellent candidate for clicker training. Blanket likely has a food allergy which causes hair loss, but is doing well on a poultry-based diet. While she does have a nearly permanent grouchy expression, she is actually very sweet, with a bit of attitude (standard tortitude level). Blanket is a good candidate for an adopter with previous cat experience.

My foster writes: Meet Blanket, yes Blanket! Shes as warm and cuddly as her name sake! A beautiful and small medium torti girl. She LOVES other cats and while she can be pretty shy and scared at first but especially with another cat around is VERY quick to warm up. She's a quirky girl who will play with ANYTHING you try with, paper? Any stick? Your pinkies finger? She will gently play with it XD anything is a toy if you try hard enough! She has slight issues like allergies and but overall is an extremely good kitty.

What my friends at ACC say about me:

I lived with children in my previous home.

I have lived with cats in my previous home.

I would do best in a home without very tiny humans, although I could be open to older human children once I meet them.

I am finding the shelter a little overwhelming, but when it's just you and me and some peace and quiet you'll see what a love bug I am.

I have been known to shower my favorite people in love!

I can be slow to adjust to new environments. I prefer to take things at my own pace.

I would appreciate slow introductions to new people and places to help me feel safe.

I'm sensitive and shy. I'll need extra help from you.
