Bambi most likely spent the first year of her life in a crate, with little or no socialization or stimulation. Thankfully, her owner surrendered her to an experienced LCAR foster home which is changing her life for the better and allowing her to experience the puppyhood she never got.
Bambi is a sweet girl who seems to do well in most situations. She handles crowds, kids, dogs and noise well, walks okay on a leash and is crate trained. She rides well in the car and seems to take every new situation in stride. She likes being carried, and loves her foster siblings.
WE ONLY ADOPT LOCALLY WITHIN A 2 HOUR RADIUS OF THE TRICOUNTY AREA. ***Exceptions may be made for seniors or hard to place dogs.
If the animal is under the age of 3 years old or has health issues, a vet reference in good standing is required which means you must own a pet or have owned a pet in your name.
Adoption fee of $510 covers all vetting including spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, microchip heartworm test 610and treatment if needed and any other medical that may be required while in rescue.
We only do adoptions on Saturday, and not all animals are able to attend. If you would like to see a specific animal, please let us know so that we can make arrangements for it to be present at the event. Event locations do vary, so please check the homepage to find out where we will be this week. Please do not ask us to reduce adoption fees since all fees help us cover medical expenses for all of our animals, some of which can be very expensive. Saving lives is not cheap, so thank you for understanding and helping us save as many as possible.

We were founded in 2002. We are all volunteers and we have no physical facility. All animals stay in their foster homes until they are adopted.
