Sugar Faced Trevor is a two-year-old pit bull with one of the most charming faces you’ll ever see — right on his snout is a perfect little patch of color that looks just like a lipstick kiss. It’s as if someone wanted to make sure the world knew just how lovable he is.
Trevor’s personality is as warm as his look suggests. He’s affectionate, playful, and always eager to be near his people. Whether he’s leaning in for cuddles, showing off his goofy side during playtime, or soaking up praise like sunshine, Trevor is a total sweetheart.
Despite his “sugar-faced” nickname, Trevor’s still a young guy with plenty of energy and enthusiasm for life. He’s ready for long walks, new adventures, and — most importantly — a family who’ll give him all the love his kiss-marked nose seems to promise.

Border Tails Rescue is a licensed no-kill animal rescue and welfare organization dedicated to the rescue and adoption of stray dogs across the world, with a unique focus on Mexico. Border Tails Rescue has a physical shelter facility with dogs on site for viewing everyday. Border Tails Rescue primarily works with rural shelters across the country, including but not limited to TX, AR, AL, LA, KY, IN, and MI on a regular basis as well as CACC, Chicago’s open intake shelter. BTR is Woman-founded by Harleigh Garcia, who was 20 years old at the time. The organization was founded in December of 2019 and Border Tails Rescue is registered with Illinois Secretary of State as a non profit organization. Border Tails Rescue operates entirely on donations and adoption fees.
