My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Say hello to little Pickle! Pickle is an absolute angel. He is estimated to be about 10-12years old. Pickle is full of life and has lots of wiggly energy. He loves to play and loves to chew on your fingers when he’s excited. He uses all his energy to love you to death and then takes a big ole nap! Pickle is a tiny guy only weighing about 5lbs and he is ready to be your sidekick! He will let you know when he wants to go outside and will bother you for his meals when it’s time for those as well. We adore Pickle and we know you will too!

More about this rescue

We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, foster-based and volunteer-run rescue, with a small sanctuary space for senior dogs who are unadoptable or in need of lifelong hospice care. Whether they’re with us for a short stay or for the rest of their lives, they are family.

We specialize in saving senior dogs who are often the first to be passed over and the last to be helped. Our dogs come from:

Scary, overcrowded shelters where they’re at high risk of euthanasia
Homes where their owners have passed away or entered long-term care
Situations of neglect, abandonment, or urgent need

They may come to us broken, scared, or sick—but they leave knowing love, safety, and peace.
