My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello, I’m Ed Sheeran! I’m about 3 months old, and while I may be smaller than my brother Chuckie Finster, I’m just as full of energy and heart! Like my namesake, I’m a proud little redhead with star power to spare — I light up every room I walk (or zoom) into.

I’m an adventurous kitten who loves to launch myself off any obstacle to chase my toys. I look up to my big brother Chuckie and follow his lead on most things, but when it comes to mealtime, I’m all business — food is one of my great loves! After a big play session, I melt right into your arms, snuggling close to your face and falling asleep in seconds. I’m a bit clumsy, a total goofball, and full of personality.

Since I’m still a young kitten, I need to be adopted into a home with another playful cat (maybe my brother Chuckie!) or as part of a pair. If you’re looking for the Perfect little ginger to fill your home with laughter, cuddles, and music of the purrs, I’m your guy!

More about this rescue

Smittens isn’t just another cat rescue.
We are a coalition of volunteers with a spay/neuter mission, dedicated to helping both stray and owned animals in the greater San Diego area get fixed, receive veterinary care, and whatever else they may need! Smittens works with shelters and other rescues to route cats to proper vet care and eventual homes, and we take in stray cats who need help getting off the street. We also support TNR for feral cats, and assist cat and dog owners to get their own pets fixed and vaccinated at a low cost.
