My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

When his owner relocated, 9-year-old Milton was left in the care of her aging parents. Unable to manage the needs of a large dog, they made the difficult decision to surrender Milton to the San Diego Humane Society.

We welcomed this sweet senior gentleman as Frosted Face on November 17th. Milton is 9 years old and weighs 81 lbs. His guardians shared the following information upon surrendering him to the shelter:

* Milton is a gentle, approachable dog who has lived with children and enjoyed their attention and petting.
* He is easy to handle and bathe and rides nicely in the car. He jumps right in and lies down.
* Milton has lived with other dogs and cats. He gets along well with both and generally ignores cats.
* He enjoys playtime and running around with other dogs.
* Milton politely waits for treats and meals.
* He walks with a light leash.

Milton spent a special evening out with FFF's founders and earned a rave review for being perfectly behaved! At a restaurant, he politely listened to live music (see video), saw many dogs he didn't know, and happily received lots of pets. Milton also rode nicely in the car and leapt right in all by himself.

Milton currently on a two-week Frosted Fling, so we can learn more about him while he enjoys being loved on in a home. Stay tuned for updates!
