Nala entered the San Diego Humane Society as a stray along with Goose (also available for adoption.) Unfortunately, they weren't claimed, so we welcomed them as Frosted Faces on November 17th.
Nala is estimated to be 10 years old and weighs 16 lbs. She is currently on a two-week Frosted Fling with her buddy Goose, so we can learn more about them while they enjoy being in the comfort of a home again.
Their Fling Mom shares:
"Nala is smart, polite, and knows how to sit and shake.
🤎 She loves sunbathing and taking a nap outside.
🤎 Nala is potty-trained and hasn’t had any accidents. She is able to hold through the night.
🤎 Nala has great appetite and is not picky at all.
🤎 She sleeps through the night on our bed.
🤎Nala and Goose are friendly with visitors! They initially barked when the first guest arrived for Thanksgiving but they were quick to learn that the guests were our family and did so well! We had two 3-year-old nieces, who were running, jumping, and making loud noises, but Nala and Goose didn’t react!
🤎Nala and Goose are so good on car rides.
🤎Nala and Goose let me wipe teeth/gum and clean their ears. Even things they don’t enjoy, they are patient and have not shown any sings of aggression to us. They are super sweet.
🤎 Nala and Goose are friendly with other small dogs. They are not cat friendly. They might be able to learn to live with cats eventually but currently chase them.
🤎 Nala is getting better with walking on the leash and pulls less as long as kept on short leash.
Overall, Nala and Goose are doing well, and they are extremely sweet, cute, and loving."
