My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Merlin, the magical English Bulldog whose superpower is pure, unconditional love. ✨🐾

This adorable little squish gets along with absolutely everyone—dogs, humans, probably even houseplants. Merlin is as sweet as they come and only wants one thing in life: to be loved and to love you right back.

At about 2–3 years old (maybe even younger!), Merlin is the perfect mix of youthful charm and gentle, good-boy energy. He’s well-mannered, affectionate, and ready to follow his forever family wherever their hearts lead.

If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a big heart, wiggly butt, and the cutest face you’ve ever seen, Merlin is your boy. 💙

More about this rescue

The mission of the Raise the Bar-N Foundation is to rescue, care for, and provide compassion to abused and neglected animals, educate the community about responsible pet ownership, and provide opportunities to children and adults with disabilities. We strive to give the voiceless a voice.

My husband and I have been rescuing for years. We also do a great deal with the autism/special needs community. We are hoping to save more animals and help build bonds between animals and children with disabilities. My husband is a firefighter and ex-professional hockey player. I am an expert working with children with disabilities, especially autism. I am passionate about giving the voiceless a "voice".
