Hi there! I’m Yoshi, and I’m looking for someone who doesn’t mind sharing their personal space—like, all of it. I used to be a stray wandering around Garland, Texas, but now I’m at C.A.R.E. and ready to find my forever family!
Here’s what you should know about me: I’m potty trained (you’re welcome!), I love other dogs, and I’m basically a professional snuggler. Seriously, if there’s a spot next to you on the couch, I’ll find it. Working from home? I’ll be your office assistant. Watching TV? I’m already settling in beside you. Just sitting down for a second? Perfect—that’s my cue!
I’m still learning my manners, but I’m a quick study when it comes to making people happy. Oh, and full disclosure: I’m not a fan of crates. I’d much rather be wherever you are, soaking up all the love and attention I can get.

Our fees include a full medical exam by a veterinarian. This includes a Feline Leukemia and FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) test for cats, Rabies and Distemper Vaccines, deworming and Spay/Neuter. Dogs receive a Heartworm Check, Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper Vaccines, Canine Flu Vaccine, deworming, and Kennel Cough preventative. Our modest adoption fees do not cover the procedures and vet work that we provide the animals. We fundraise to make up the difference. Any ongoing medical needs that C.A.R.E. is aware of are explained fully, (including daily medicine costs), to the potential adopter, and become the responsibility of the adopter.
