Mylie is a 2-year-old, 20 lb Dachshund/Chihuahua mix with the sweetest spirit and a heart full of love. She is ready for her adoptive home through PAWS Rescue inc.
She came to her foster after being abandoned in a field while pregnant and gave birth to five puppies all on her own. She proved right away what an incredible mom she is — strong, nurturing, and resilient. Now that her puppies are grown, it’s Mylie’s turn to find a forever home!

Fully potty trained and uses a doggy door
Doesn’t mind being in a crate
Prefers not to be locked alone in a room
Sleeps on the bed with the other dogs and comes for pets and cuddles

Plays nicely, especially tug-of-war with friends
Eats separately due to being a speedy eater

Still working on leash skills
Enjoys car rides and makes an excellent co-pilot
Loves dog parks and playtime

Since our formation in early 2013, we have helped save thousands of cats and dogs throughout Idaho from neglect, abuse, and death. Many of our rescues come from the Burley Idaho Animal Shelter where PAWS has transformed what was once a high kill facility to a shelter where every adoptable animal gets a second chance! PAWS also takes in stray pets from all over Idaho including Twin Falls, Boise, Nampa, and Caldwell. We work our very hardest to respond to every call for help!
PAWS Rescue, Inc. saves all breeds of cats and dogs of all ages as well as animals who have been hit by cars, shot, abandoned, abused, and neglected.
Rescued animals are placed in loving foster homes or transferred to other no kill partner facilities giving them a chance to find the perfect forever home. Our efforts give these deserving animals a second chance at a happy life.
Every animal receives veterinary evaluation and care, including spay/neuter and vaccines, as well as treatment for any other medical issue they may have. No animal is ever euthanized due to expense.
