Bizou is a sweet and soulful two-year-old mixed breed (pitbull-type) with a gentle heart and a sturdy 50ish-pound frame. Spayed, microchipped, and fully vaccinated through Dallas Animal Services, she's ready to bring love and loyalty to her forever home. Bizou has been thriving in an apartment setting. She's house-trained, crate-trained, and has a calm, pleasant demeanor that makes her a joy to live with. She's friendly with strangers and has shown no signs of aggression--though she's protective when needed. Bizou enjoys the company of dogs her size or larger and plays respectfully with them. She's more cautious around smaller dogs. She's done well with children ages 8-14 and would likely do great in a family with older kids. Her behavior around cats is unknown. Bizou is participating in the DFW Rescue Me Guest Dog Program, so ongoing care and custody are provided by their foster, not by DFWRM.
