If you’re looking for a dog who’s equal parts sweetheart and silly goose, Nala might just be the paw-fect match for you. This gentle young shepherd mix did an amazing job raising her nine puppies (yes, nine!)—all of whom are now happily adopted—so now it’s finally her turn to be spoiled and cherished.
Nala is as kind and loving as they come. She’s incredibly sweet and would fit right in with almost any family. She’s good with kids and other dogs, loves being part of daily family life, and has a gentle nature that makes her a joy to have around. She’s also ridiculously adorable. She has the cutest little salt-and-pepper toes, and when she gets really excited—or is thinking extra hard—her lip gets stuck on her teefs in the most endearing way. It’s impossible not to smile around her.
She is crate and potty trained, knows some basic commands, and is learning her leash manners quickly—she’s already making great progress and working so hard to be the best walking buddy. She does like to chase kitties so she would do best in a home without cats. She also loves being outdoors and is totally unbothered by cold weather—snow? chilly winds? no problem! ❄️ She would make a fantastic adventure buddy, and when the day is done, she’s more than happy to come inside, curl up, and settle in for some downtime.

Adoption fees for cats/kittens are $130.00. All cats/kittens have been wormed, altered, tested for feline leukemia, given age-appropriate vaccinations, and are microchipped.
Adoption fees for dogs/puppies are $300.00 All dogs/puppies have been wormed, altered, tested for heart worm, given age-appropriate vaccinations, and are microchipped.
We also offer our Senior for Senior program matching senior animals to people over the age of 63. Adoption fees are waived for this program.

Camp Companion is dedicated to providing low-cost spay and neuter services for feral, farm and stray companion animals. The organization is funded solely by donations, fundraisers, grants, and adoption fees. All funds we receive are used for veterinary expenses and the cost of care incurred for the animals waiting for their forever homes.
Through our spay / neuter efforts, we encounter kittens and stray domestic cats that need rescue services and a forever home. We have no shelter, but rely on foster homes to care for these rescued pets. Every animal we offer for adoption is spayed or neutered.
