Please meet Octavian! This adorble little orange and white boy is one of the sweetest cats you will ever meet. He is very mild mannered and gets along very well with his feline housemates. Octavian enjoys wet food and lounging on the couch or in his foster mom's bed with her. He has very good manners too. He does not scratch inappropiatley, counter surf and has impeccible litter box habits.

Octavian has been neutered, vaccinated against rabies and distemper, microchipped and tested negative FeLV. Octavian did test positive for FIV. However, FIV is only contagious to other cats thru sexual contact or deep and bloody bite wounds. Becasue Octavian is not a fighter and gets along excellant with other cats, he can live in a home with non-FIV cats.

We offer an online adoption application at www.castwaycritters.org. We do check references, vet references, and housechecks. Once you are approved, you will be required to fill out an adoption agreement. Our animals have all been wormed, altered and vaccinated. Cats have been tested for FIV/FeLV. All of our animals are in foster care so please complete an application at our website (www.castawaycritters.org) before meeting them. Completing an application does not obligate you to adopt; however, it is required. Applications are processed in the order received in an effort to find the best match possible for both the dog and the adopter.

More about this rescue

We are a non-profit rescue group that takes in stray, abandoned, and sick animals, giving them medical and foster care until available for adoption. We offer low cost spay/neuter clinics to the public and a special program called Operation CatNIP for pet cats of low income qualified individuals and feral cats, and assist in TNR for cats.
