Meet Fabio!
Fabio is a sweet 7-year-old male Shih Tzu with a gentle cautious soul. He is a retired breeding dog so the world is new for him. This little guy loves nothing more than snuggling on your lap and soaking up all the affection he can get. Once he warms up, he’ll happily rest his head on your shoulder for hugs—one of his favorite ways to show love.
Fabio gets along wonderfully with other dogs and enjoys playing with them, so he would thrive in a home with another friendly pup. He’s a bit shy at first and likes to sit back and watch the world, but with patience and kindness he quickly becomes a loyal, cuddly companion.
He isn’t a fan of cold weather or snow and prefers to spend most of his time indoors. Fabio uses a potty pad reliably in the house, and although he goes outside when encouraged, he likes to come right back in. He hasn’t mastered steps yet, but we are working on it. He would need a securely fenced-in yard or secure outdoor area to help keep him safe. He is not leash trained yet but working on it.
Fabio is looking for a calm, loving home where he can feel secure, snuggle up with his people, and enjoy the company of another dog. He could do well with calm older children. If you’re hoping for a gentle, affectionate little buddy Fabio might be the perfect match.
I am getting neutered and a dental cleaning 12/5 Friday. I can be adopted once I have healed from surgery.

We also offer our Senior for Senior program matching senior animals to people over the age of 63. Adoption fees are waived for this program.

Based in Rochester MN, the organization is totally driven by volunteers.
Camp Companion is dedicated to providing low-cost spay and neuter services for feral, farm and stray companion animals. The organization is funded solely by donations, fundraisers, grants, and adoption fees. All funds we receive are used for veterinary expenses and the cost of care incurred for the animals waiting for their forever homes.
Through our spay / neuter efforts, we encounter kittens and stray domestic cats that need rescue services and a forever home. We have no shelter, but rely on foster homes to care for these rescued pets. Every animal we offer for adoption is spayed or neutered.
