Winnie was brought in by a community member on November 21, 2025.

Meet Winnie, a sweet girl with a gentle heart and a shy streak. She's still getting used to her new surroundings, so she'll need a thoughtful family who can give her time, patience, and a quiet space to settle in. Winnie is looking for a home without young children (under 8), where she can relax and feel safe. One thing Winnie does know for sure is that she adores other social, friendly dogs. In fact, having a confident canine companion in the home would be a huge bonus for her and would help her blossom at her own pace. Our lifesaving safety net has helped San Diego become the largest city in the U.S. to keep healthy and treatable shelter animals from being euthanized.
