Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet ASTRID! The playful little shadow you didn’t know you needed!
At just 3 months old, ASTIRD is the perfect mix of silly puppy energy and soft, snuggly sweetness. She has a hilarious personality and loves to “sneak attack” anything that moves like her brother, a leaf blowing by, a bug… nothing escapes her tiny pounce!
ASTRID is already impressing with how smart she is. She’s leash trained, learning potty training, and will even go to the door and whine when she needs to go out, all learned with praise and treats. She knows her name, knows “sit,” and is learning to go into her crate when you say “Astrid, crate!”
She absolutely adores being outside and will happily join you for several walks a day if you have the time. When she’s done playing, her puppy side comes out she still nuzzles and suckles her special stuffed bear (which will go home with her), and she loves to cuddle when she gets sleepy.
ASTRID is wonderful with other dogs and is very submissive, making her a great match for families with resident pups. She’s an affectionate, goofy, eager-to-please girl who will be an incredible addition to any loving home.
If you’re looking for a bright, loving puppy with the sweetest heart, ASTRID is your girl.

More about this rescue
A Lab for Life (ALL) provides a compassionate life-line to abandoned dogs that includes a safe haven, medical care by a licensed veterinarian, nutrition (food) and a fur-ever family through adoption. ALL promotes the humane treatment of animals in the community.
ALL was founded in July 2020 by a group of dog advocates in central Oklahoma and
Northeastern US after some had been volunteering with an out of state rescue for over 5 years. That experience solidified a local organization was needed. ALL formed to rescue as many stray, homeless and owner surrendered dogs as possible by partnering with many state-wide shelters and rescue operations. In addition to transferring homeless dogs from the shelters, fostering them in temporary homes and adopting them out, we also provide behavioral and medical resources to people who are considering surrendering their dog in an effort to keep the dog in their homes and out of the shelter/rescue system.
ALL operates under the 5 freedoms for animal welfare.
We are a brand new organization and welcome donations!
