My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I'm Cranberry! At 2 months old, I am Spicy, Sparkly & Full of Holiday Energy ❤️💚. I’m expected to grow into a medium-sized girl around 30–40 lbs, but my personality already fills the room like the holidays do.

I’m a little playful spitfire who loves to run, wrestle, and zoom around until I wear myself out. When I’m done playing, l will curl up on my bed or in my kennel…although if there’s space in your bed, I would not say no. Snuggles, kisses, and cozy time are some of my favorites!

I'm working very hard on my housetraining skills and doing great, if I don't say so myself. I sleep in my kennel at night, and I’m crate-trained. I’m also working on learning “sit” and figuring out leash-walking. Practice makes perfect, right?

I get along great with dogs, cats, chickens, and kids, and I love toys of all kinds! Like any Husky mix, I do shed (consider it my way of decorating), and I’ll need daily playtime or walks to keep my festive energy in check. My foster family is teaching me to keep my puppy habits in check with positive reinforcement and redirection. I feel like I'm a good listener and I'm catching on!

If you’re looking for a pup who brings lots of kisses, and some sparkle & shine, I will be the perfect Cranberry on top of your holiday season!

Don't let those falalalalas of the holiday season distract you! Go hit that apply button to meet me today!

Cranberry's adoption fee is $275. She will come spayed, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, microchipped, and current on preventatives for heartworm/flea/tick.

Go meet their pets

Where are you located?
Pawsitive Tails does not have a physical location. All of our dogs live in loving foster homes throughout the Kansas City and Topeka area. This allows fosters to get to know each dog personally, so we can find the very best home for them.

What are your hours?
As a foster based rescue, every person with Pawsitive Tails is a volunteer. Because we do not have a facility, we do not have “open” hours but can be contacted between 8am and 9pm.

Can I stop in to visit dogs and play with puppies?
No. We require an approved application to be on file before meeting our dogs/puppies. In addition, our dogs live in foster homes, so we must work around the foster parents’ schedule.

More about this rescue

Pawsitive Tails strives to be something different in the animal adoption community. We simply want to help dogs and puppies find new homes by matching the right dog to the right family.

Pawsitive Tails is a not for profit organization focused on finding forever homes for dog and puppies. We are not a shelter and we do not have a facility - all the dogs in our program live in foster homes.
