My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Introducing Magic — a sweet soul with a bright future ahead of her.

Born at ARC after her mama arrived from Lee County Domestic Animal Services in need of support, Magic has been surrounded by love from the very beginning.

She’s playful, gentle, adorably clumsy on her big puppy paws, and happiest when snuggled close to someone she trusts.

Magic is a Great Dane mix who will grow into a large, loyal companion, so a home with Great Dane experience would be ideal for her.

If you have room in your home — and your heart, complete an application and schedule an appointment to meet this beautiful girl today.

More about this rescue

The Animal Refuge Center (ARC) of Fort Myers is a not for profit animal welfare society dedicated to stopping the escalating cost to impound, care for, kill and dispose of dogs and cats dying for no reason other than having been born. ARC is helping to cut the large numbers of homeless animals which eventually cuts the costs to taxpayers, which to date has reached over half a million dollars a year.

ARC is a non-euthanasia organization. Once we accept an animal for adoption, IT WILL NOT BE DESTROYED TO MAKE ROOM FOR ANOTHER. We are here to help the unwanted and neglected animals who now face certain death.
