My name is Boo (aka Blue)!

Boo, aka Blue (his former owners used both) was originally adopted from us back in 2021, when he was around 2 years old. His family life recently changed drastically and he is back with us, due to no fault of his own. This was a very sad and difficult situation for all involved and we're happy that the family reached out to us about taking him back. Boo has been completely vetted, chipped, and his fee is $125.

Boo is a medium sized dog who appears to be a mix of maybe cattle dog, husky, Australian shepherd, and rat terrier. He is now around 6 years old. He very much loves to be with his people and is affectionate and attentive. He would do best in a home in which he's not left alone for long hours. He is still pretty active, enjoys his exercise, and is also content to hang out and cuddle. He has done well with other dogs and kids. He has been okay with some adult cats but can be a tad rough when he tries to play with them.

NOTE:  Adoptions are done via private appointment once an application has been completed and approved. Applications must be submitted at our website, mchs.rescuegroups.org.

We are located at 101 22nd St. SE in Austin, right next to the airport. It's exit 180B off of I-90, right off of 218 South.

We do require that potential adopters be at least 21 years old and that any resident dogs be up to date on vaccinations, heartworm testing/preventatives, and spayed or neutered.
