Benson is the cutest little Shih Tzu puppy. He was recently rescued from an Amish puppy mill. Benson was born on 9/5/25 and is 14 weeks old weighing only 5 pounds. He is full of personality and loves playing with balls. He is crate trained and working on housebreaking. Benson gets along with all his foster dogs and ignores the cats. He is looking for a forever family that has time to devote to a puppy. He is being neutered on 12/17 and then can go home.
Adoption fee is $475

Passion for Pets Rescue (PPR) is a non-profit (501c3), insured and state licensed rescue, run by volunteers. We are a small group of like minded folks with big hearts. PPR does not have an actual shelter, all of our dogs are either in foster homes in Maine or with our Southern partners in Mississippi.
PPR covers all medical expenses. The majority of the dogs we rescue require immediate veterinary care. Skin infections and internal parasites are common occurrences. We pay for all spay & neuter surgeries. PPR makes sure all dogs are given age appropriate vaccinations, as well as, preventative medication for Heartworm and external parasites.
