My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Little miss Missy is ready to waddle her way into your heart! This 1-year-old Pittie mix was brought in from Fresno Animal Center and is still learning the ins and outs of the city, including all of the people that inhabit it! Missy may be a bit shy at first but once she feels comfortable, she blossoms into an affectionate companion, ready to go on walks with you and have fun!

Missy would love to find a home who are willing to go slow with her as she settles into her new environment. It`s a lovely experience to watch a shy dog blossom and she`ll be able to show you how quickly she can trust and fall in love. If you`re ready for a new companion who will see you as her world, look no further than Missy!

More about this shelter

Founded in 1868, The SF SPCA is a community-supported nonprofit dedicated to saving, protecting and caring for cats and dogs. We do this through immediate care of animals that are homeless, ill or in need of an advocate, but we also work to educate the community, reduce the number of unwanted kittens and puppies through spaying/neutering, and improve the quality of life for animals and their companions.
