My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jolly Jeanie couldn`t be more jazzy and joyful! Fresh into her teenage years, Jeanie has a jovial personality that takes up the room. She is learning every day, luckily thanks to her judicious motivation by yummy incentives (treat-based training) and is just a star. Jeanie can still be excitable and those paws might jaunt up toward you for a hug, but just remind her that a polite little lady keeps all four paws on the ground for attention. Jeanie loves to meet other people while out on a walk. She just can`t get enough of pets pets pets! I know what you`re thinking—you`ve got to come in and meet this dog. We agree! Adopt Jeanie, and you`ll have hit the jackpot. Come on in to our adoption center, or, click the `How to Adopt Me` button to learn about virtual matchmaking!

More about this shelter

Founded in 1868, The SF SPCA is a community-supported nonprofit dedicated to saving, protecting and caring for cats and dogs. We do this through immediate care of animals that are homeless, ill or in need of an advocate, but we also work to educate the community, reduce the number of unwanted kittens and puppies through spaying/neutering, and improve the quality of life for animals and their companions.
