My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Violet Elise Tripod Princess is basically a walking serotonin generator. She is two years old, around 50 lbs, and made entirely of soft velvet, sunshine, wiggles, and enthusiasm. She’s missing a leg, yes… but she absolutely DOES NOT CARE. She hippity-hops around the yard like a happy little bunny, zooms like a fluffy rocket, and plays like she’s training for the Toy Olympics.

Her zoomies? Iconic.
Her hops? Adorable.
Her belly rub requests? Immediate and non-negotiable.

Every time you greet her, her whole body wiggles — like she’s made of Jell-O and pure happiness. She usually throws herself straight onto her back because “Hi, hello, yes, you may rub my tummy forever.” Violet is a professional-level snuggler. If being sweet were a competitive sport, she’d medal.

This girl LOVES toys. All toys. Every toy. If it squeaks, bounces, rolls, or can be tossed dramatically into the air — Violet is obsessed. Give her a ball? SPRINT MODE. Give her a stuffy? AIR TOSS ROUTINE. Give her a pupsicle? She becomes a gentle little princess savoring her snack like afternoon tea.

With dogs, Violet has big “fun cousin at family gatherings” energy. She was a tiny bit unsure at first, but once she sniffed everyone and figured out the vibe, she was READY TO PARTY. She and Honey (the goofy, playful pup) became instant besties — zooming in circles, wrestling, chasing toys, the whole thing. With dogs who aren’t in a party mood, she’s surprisingly respectful like, “ok king, no worries, I’ll go do zoomies over here.”

She’d love a medium-energy boy dog who likes to play but also lets her warm up, and respects that she sometimes wants to hop to the beat of her own drum. She’s a toy lover, so sharing is still a skill she’s working on, but she’s made tons of progress and is totally able to live with another dog or be your one-and-only toy queen.

People? Violet LOVES them. All of them. Guests entering the home, strangers on walks, that Amazon driver who doesn’t know he’s her best friend yet — she is thrilled to greet everyone. She’s calmer in public thanks to her foster working on manners, but at home? Wiggles. Belly flops. Insistent snuggles. Happy princess vibes all around.

Kids? She thinks they’re awesome, but she’s a bouncy girl with a love of toys, zoomies, and general enthusiasm. So older kids who understand when to give her space (and won’t try to take the holy ball from her mouth mid-zoomie) will be happiest with her.

And yes, she’s smart — sit, stay, come, a beautiful heel, and the most perfect “wait for it… WAIT FOR IT… OKAY COME!!” you’ve ever seen. She’s great on leash, loves car rides now, and sleeps like a little angel in her crate (with the door open, of course — princess privileges).

No cats for this girl — she’s got a chase instinct and cats would file a complaint.

Violet is truly the perfect balance of silly, sweet, snuggly, playful, gentle, and joyful. She’s the kind of dog who makes you laugh every single day just by being her adorable hop-happy self. She’s the kind of dog who makes your home feel brighter. She’s the kind of dog who makes you go, “How did we ever live without this wiggly little princess?”

And she’s ready to hop straight into her forever family’s heart. 💛🐾
