Ari Honey is believed to be a GSD/Belgian Malinois mix approximately 5 years old and currently weighs 54 lbs. She is a rescue dog and with any rescue it's always a mystery and we cannot guarantee breed or age. Just based off her looks and personality along, the ideal adopter for Ari will be someone with Belgian Malinois experience. She is super smart and incredibly connected to her person, making her the ultimate doggy partner. She's a pro at training and already knows all the basics like sit, come, leave it, and more. Plus, she walks like a dream on a leash, staying attentive to her handler every step of the way. She has also shown us that she has incredible house manners and is comfortable in her crate. She walks right in with not hesitation! Consider Ari Honey your devoted partner and crime ready to join you on all of life's adventures.
But don't think Ari is all work and no play! She's just medium-energy and enjoys a bit of exercise each day to keep her happy. Whether it's hanging out on the couch for a Netflix marathon, exploring the yard, playing fetch, or going for leash walks and car rides, she's up for anything as long as she's with you. What Ari loves most of all is hearing how good she is – your praise and positive vibes mean the world to her. She's motivated by your connection and wants nothing more than to be your faithful sidekick.
Ari is dog-friendly and all the boys love her, who can blame them?! She's beautiful, has the best personality, and brings that Beyonce confidence to the yard that all the boys can't resist. All of Ari's boyfriends are playful, happy go-lucky, goofy guys that love to bounce around, play chase, enjoy the occasional rumble and tumble, and they are also quite the gentleman type that will take play breaks on their own and respect Ari's boundaries when she's done playing. For the most part, Ari is enjoying the sunshine and fresh air while the other pups around her are playing or she can be found getting all the attention from the people around her. Even when she has found a boyfriend she likes, Ari enjoys their company and will play every so often. In a home, she will do best with a happy go-lucky male that will play with her and also a boy toy that will save a spot for her on the couch. Bonus points if the other dog in the home will snuggle up for a nap right along side her! If you don't have other dogs, that's fine too! She does not need the company of other dogs to help her feel comfortable and open up nor does she need another dog to fulfill her energy needs. She is a confident love bug all on her own and will be ready for couch snuggles after an adventure or long walk around the neighborhood.
Ari will thrive with a semi-active family that enjoys frequent outdoor activities such as hiking, camping, going to the beach or even casual play time in the yard. A family or individual who appreciates nature and is ready to explore parks, trails, or snowy landscapes would be perfect. While she loves the great outdoors and loves to explore, Ari is also an affectionate gal at home and loves to burry her head into you for love. If you enjoy the outdoors but also cherish time spent relaxing indoors, Ari is the perfect fit. She would also do best in a home with a backyard as well. A place where she can stretch her legs, check out all of her favorite sniff spots, and roll around in the grass and sunbathe during those beautiful summer days.
We are willing to test Ari Honey with anything you need us to in order to ensure it's a perfect match. We can make anything happen! Just let us know. Ready to welcome a new furry friend into your life? Apply today!

At our 2 acre Texas based property, we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group training and socialization play groups helping them stay confident, well rounded, and adoption-ready. We go above and beyond to ensure every animal receives exceptional care. Veterinarians consistently praise our medical standards. From routine care to advanced treatments, each dog receives personalized attention. Hard costs for a healthy dog range from $804-$920; heartworm-positive dogs or those needing specialized care can exceed $2,000+.
