Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Brock — a bright, sweet, and curious 6- week-old German Shepherd mix who is already winning hearts.
Even at his young age, Brock’s personality shines through. He is an energetic, affectionate little pup whose eyes light up the moment he sees people.
He loves being held, follows you around the house with total devotion, and already shows the confidence and curiosity that will make him a wonderful companion as he grows.
Brock is playful with both small and larger dogs and naturally gravitates toward social interactions. While he hasn’t been exposed to cats or kids yet, he has the gentle, people-focused temperament that suggests he’ll adapt well with proper introductions and continued guidance.
Like all puppies, Brock is just beginning to learn the world around him. He has basic puppy manners, is eager to please, and shows every sign of being a fast learner. Although too young for leash work or structured training, he’s already bright and attentive. With patience, consistency, and positive direction, he will grow into an exceptional family dog.
His favorite activities right now are cuddling, chasing his foster siblings, and exploring his environment between naps. He has an adorable pair of expressive eyes that give away exactly what he’s thinking—whether he wants to play, be scooped into your arms, or curl up next to you.
Brock will thrive with an adopter who understands puppy development and is ready for all the fun (and the work) that comes with raising a young dog. An active family or a home with other friendly dogs would be a great fit, especially one that appreciates puppy kisses, playtime, and plenty of snuggles.
If you’re looking for a loving, lively puppy with a sweet nature and a bright future, Brock may be the perfect new addition to your home
** Brock will be available to leave to his new home at 8 weeks of age**

More about this rescue
We hope to ease the problem of population overflow occurring in many of our shelters today. WGSR educates the individual on the importance of sterilizing the pet and providing superior care.
WGSR is composed of a network of foster families and volunteers. We are always in need of more foster care providers with the time and commitment necessary to care for these animals in transition. We are also in need of volunteers who can shuttle dogs from shelters and other sites to our foster homes.
