Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Brody — a goofy, affectionate, and energetic 6-week-old German Shepherd mix who is ready to charm his way into someone’s heart.
Brody is the kind of puppy whose whole face lights up when he sees people. He loves to follow you around, lean in for cuddles, and soak up every bit of attention you offer. Even at such a young age, he already shows a fun-loving spirit and an eagerness to connect with his humans.
With other dogs, Brody is pure joy. He happily plays with both big and small dogs and jumps into puppy games with confidence and enthusiasm. He hasn’t been exposed to cats or kids yet, but like most young puppies, he’s at an age where he can grow into just about any well-guided environment.
Brody is a bright little pup who will be a fast learner. He’s eager to please and already showing the intelligence and curiosity common to both his breeds. Though he’s too young for structured training or leash practice, he’s well on his way with basic puppy manners and will thrive with consistent guidance as he grows.
His favorite activities include tug-of-war, wrestling with his foster dog friends, and romping around until he’s ready for a long nap. In between his playful bursts of energy, he loves to roll onto his back for belly rubs—a signature move that instantly wins over anyone who meets him.
Brody will do best with an adopter who understands the needs of a young puppy and is excited to help him grow into a well-rounded adult dog. An active home or a family with other friendly dogs would be a wonderful match, especially someone ready to give him the structure, love, and opportunities he needs to thrive.
If you’re looking for a spirited, cuddly puppy with a whole lot of personality and potential, Brody may be the perfect addition to your home
** Brody will be available to leave to his new home at 8 weeks of age**

More about this rescue
We hope to ease the problem of population overflow occurring in many of our shelters today. WGSR educates the individual on the importance of sterilizing the pet and providing superior care.
WGSR is composed of a network of foster families and volunteers. We are always in need of more foster care providers with the time and commitment necessary to care for these animals in transition. We are also in need of volunteers who can shuttle dogs from shelters and other sites to our foster homes.
