[DogName] is a COURTESY LISTING available for private adoption -- for more information, please contact the owner listed below. DO NOT apply through the GSRA website as this dog and owner are not affiliated with GSRA. We are looking for a loving, committed home for our beautiful female German Shepherd, who will be 2 years old on Christmas Eve. We have had her since she was 10 weeks old, and she has grown up surrounded by our three boys, whom she absolutely adores. She is incredibly loyal, affectionate, and happiest when shes with her people. She is full house and crate trained and loves spending time outdoors, and going on walks and runs. Because she is such a devoted family dog, she can be selective with other dogs. She has started to struggle with our small chihuahua mix and we can no longer provide the predictable environment she needs. She will do best in a home with no small dogs, and ideally as the only dog or with an adopter experienced in slow, structured dog introductions. She is smart, eager to please, and has so much love to give. We truly want the best for her and are hoping to find a home where she can continue to thrive and feel secure. More about this rescue
Thank you for considering adopting a GSRA dog. We love that you are exploring rescuing a GSD. We firmly believe that the adoption of a dog is not one to be taken lightly. Because of this belief, our adoption process is what some would described as lengthy and can be emotional. If you are looking to take a dog home "tomorrow", unfortunately our organization is not for you.
