Meet Honey — as sweet as her name! Honey arrived at the shelter with her four siblings after a very rough start, all of them emaciated, sick, and in need of urgent care. But true to her name, Honey has blossomed into a gentle, loving, and bright little pup with a soft spirit and a growing confidence.
Now that she’s healthy, Honey is discovering all the joys of being a puppy. She’s playful, curious, and learning new things every day — from how fun toys can be to how wonderful it feels to snuggle up with someone she trusts. She’s a mix of sweetness and silliness, with an eager little tail that never stops wagging.
Honey is looking for a patient, caring home that will continue helping her learn the ropes and show her what a secure, happy life looks like. She’ll thrive with someone who can offer gentle guidance, consistency, and lots of affection.
If you’re ready to add a soft, resilient, and utterly endearing pup to your family, Honey is waiting to sweeten your life.

*Please note that walk-in appointments are welcomed and encouraged, and will be prioritized over online applications.
Come into the Centre and if you see a pet you like, you are able to do a "Meet and Greet" with that pet. Spend some time in alone with the pet or take a dog out for a short walk. If you are still interested in adopting the pet you can meet with one of our Adoption Counsellors who will have you fill out and application and will ask you some questions about the environment in which you live. If you seem like a wonderful match and your environment meets the needs of the pet then your application should be approved!
