Best Guess for Age: 4.5 years SEX: Male
Approximate Weight: 62 lbs
Gets Along With: Other dogs! We haven't seen them with cats but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters! Garcia has lived in a home with kids.
Currently Living at: DC area foster home
All About Garcia: Garcia is the sweetest, snuggliest dog you could ask for! He's a total lovebug who absolutely LOVES belly rubs. Seriously, if you stop petting him, expect a gentle nudge or a little paw on your arm—he’ll insist you keep those scratches coming! When it's relaxation time, he loves to get cozy; he's welcome on furniture and enjoys curling up in a little ball on the couch for a nap.
While he has a huge heart, Garcia also has lots of energy! He’s super playful, obsessed with tennis balls, and loves running around. If you're active, he's your guy—he’s a great running partner and does really well on the leash when moving with you. Garcia is a smart pup and very treat motivated. He's not the biggest fan of car rides but does well when needed.
