My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Curry Mee is the sweetest little spice in the bowl! This derpy senior chihuahua comes with extra-big ears, extra-big charm, and a face so irresistible it could launch a thousand “awwws.” Curry Mee isn’t spicy in attitude (she’s all gentle sweetness), but she does add a perfect dash of curiosity to every day. She loves treats (no surprise… who doesn’t love a good curry?), adores soft cuddles, and happily shares her world with other dogs. This precious angel baby is the ultimate comfort dish: warm, cozy, and guaranteed to make your heart feel full. If you’re looking for a cuddly companion who brings sweetness, silliness, and soul-soothing love, Curry Mee is ready to be the main ingredient in your forever home!

Their adoption process

1.

Submit Application

Please submit an adoption questionnaire for the mutt(s) you are interested in. We will be in touch within 24 hours to connect!

2.

Meet the Pet

If you know who you're interested in, we'll arrange a meeting in person or virtually. If you're still browsing, come to an adoption event!

3.

Take the Pet Home

If you'd like to adopt we have a short finalization process and then you get to take your new dog home!

Additional adoption info

All of our senior mutts are vaccinated, spayed/neutered, microchipped, and given flea/tick/dewormer medication. Regular adoptions are typically $250, and there is no adoption fee for senior adopters and Hospice adoptions, though we love donations to help pay it forward for the next mutt!

Adoption application

Go meet their pets

If you know who you're interested in, fill out our questionnaire at muttville.org/how_to_adopt and we'll arrange a meeting either at our HQ or virtually with your mutt's foster parent. (Many of our lucky mutts live in foster homes!)

If you're still browsing, stop by our extraordinary new home at 750 Florida St. during open hours Tuesday through Sunday 11am-4pm, or come to an adoption event and meet a lot of dogs at once!
