My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Gumball is an adorable pittie puppy with a big smile and an even bigger heart. He and his brother, Darwin, are the dynamic duo of the house—always ready for a game of tug-of-war, a zoomie session, or a cuddle pile on the couch. Gumball’s favorite pastime is romping around with his brother and the adult dogs in his foster home, and he’s never met a human he doesn’t adore.

When playtime winds down, you’ll find this happy-go-lucky little guy snoozing peacefully on the couch, recharging for his next adventure. He sleeps through the night like a champ, is crate trained, and is doing wonderfully with his potty training!

If you’re looking for a joyful and loving companion who will brighten your home with wiggles and warmth, Gumball is your guy.

More about this rescue

A New Leash on Life has a goal of saving all the adoptable pets about to die in the municipal shelters of Alabama until we become a NO KILL state. We rescue, provide veterinary care, provide a foster home or adoption center spot, and find adopters who are good matches for homeless dogs and cats...AND horses, pigs, rabbits, and any other animal who needs our help. All animals are fully vetted, including spay/neuter, microchip, vaccines, testing (HW for dogs, FIV/Felv for cats), and whatever else they need before adoption.
