Gwen is an absolute lovebug who wants nothing more than to be your best friend. She thrives on affection, follows her people around, and is always ready for cuddles and attention. If you’re looking for a cat who will shower you with love and happily be involved in everything you do, Gwen is your girl. She and her siblings had a long uphill road with their eyes and Gwen`s was on the brink of needing removed. After lots of care, we are confident that it will continue to heal although she may always look like a bit star-y eyed.

Adoption Info:
Our cat adoption fee is $110 and includes their spay/neuter surgery, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations, and preventatives. You can find our adoption questionnaire at agcshelter.org/adopt-one

Their adoption process

1.
Submit Application

We have a short questionnaire that can be filled out before or during the meet and greet. We do not use the questionnaire to "approve".

Interview

We utilize conversational adoption. This may happen during the meet and greet or via phone before a meet and greet.

Our cat adoption fee is $110, $150 if you adopt a pair, and our dog adoption fee is $150.

You can bring your own carrier or we can provide a cardboard carrier for an additional $5.

Additional adoption info

Our adoption process is meant to reduce barriers to adoption. We have a simple questionnaire that does not determine if the adopter is "approved" or "denied" and then we have a conversation about their lifestyle, home environment, and what they are looking for in a pet.

Go meet their pets

Come meet our cats and dogs Tuesday through Friday from 1pm to 4pm in our open-concept adoption space! Here, you can sit and spend time with our kitties in a relaxed environment to get to know each personality. We have a meet and greet room for our doggies, so you can spend time with them in a larger space or walk with them outside!

We believe our shelter and volunteer programming will give hope, purpose, and friendship as we connect paws and people.
