Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Otter is an 8-month-old female Chihuahua mix with comically large ears that seem just a bit too big for her head—and paired with her long little body, the result is pure, irresistible cuteness. But her looks are only the beginning.
This happy, excitable girl is thrilled to do just about anything as long as her people (or other dogs!) are involved. Otter loves people with her whole heart. If you sit down, don’t be surprised when she immediately hops up, plants her paws on your chest, and showers your face with kisses. Yes, we know it’s technically bad manners—and yes, she’s working on it—but it’s almost impossible not to laugh at how adorable it is. When she’s extra excited, she’ll happily use you as a jungle gym, climbing all over just to be as close to you as possible and soak up every ounce of attention.
She’s a big fan of belly rubs and, after getting her fill of playtime and affection, Otter does settle down nicely. Her favorite place to nap? Curled up sweetly in your lap, of course.
Otter gets along wonderfully with other dogs, especially those her size, and loves to romp and play. She also does well with cats and kids, making her a great fit for many types of households. Potty training and crate training are still works in progress, but she’s praise- and food-motivated and eager to learn.
If you’re looking for a home filled with laughter, kisses, and nonstop affection, Otter is ready to bring a whole lot of enthusiasm and love—packed into one adorably tiny body—straight into your life.
