Staying true to his name, Loverboy is an 8-month-old male Chihuahua mix who has mastered the art of loving big in a tiny body. The perfect pocket-sized companion, this little guy packs a whole lot of heart into every cuddle, tail wag, and toy chase.

Loverboy adores people and enjoys the company of other dogs—especially those his size. Larger dogs can make him a bit nervous at first, so slow introductions help him feel safe and confident. Once he knows you’re a friend (and let’s be honest… food helps 💕), he’ll warm up quickly and may even crawl right into your lap to seal the deal.

This sweetheart loves to play, particularly when toys are involved—bonus points if they’re destined for a good de-stuffing! He plays well with dogs he’s familiar with and coexists nicely with other dogs, cats, and kids. Overall, Loverboy is just that: an all-around sweetheart who wants nothing more than to be close to those he loves.

Because food is precious to him right now, Loverboy can be protective of his meals. Feeding him separately from other pets easily solves this and keeps everyone happy. Potty training and crate training are still works in progress, but he’s learning and improving every day with consistency and patience.
