Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Clark is a 4-year-old Labrador Retriever, weighing in at 76 lbs of pure good-boy energy and love. He has a gentle soul and those classic Lab looks that make you fall in love instantly.
Clark came to us as a stray with Ellen, but they do not need to be adopted together. What Clark truly wants is simple — someone to love him and a place to call home. He’s the kind of dog who will happily be your loyal companion, whether that means going for walks, hanging out in the yard, or just soaking up affection from his favorite people.
✨ Clark is vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered, so he’s ready to head home right away.
If you’re looking for a sweet, devoted dog to add to your family, Clark may be your perfect match.

More about this shelter
Norman Animal Welfare is a municipal shelter operated and funded by the City of Norman, Oklahoma. In addition to providing a safe environment for our adoptable animals we also are responsible for the enforcement of all animal related laws within the City of Norman and holding all stray animals that are located. In addition to these main roles, we also provide public microchipping, city pet licensing, and other educational services to our community.
We average approximately 3,400 animals in and out of our facility each year. We have an amazing facility that fully opened in 2016. We operate daily with a very limited staff supported by several amazing volunteers. We operate an active foster program and are always seeking to work with those in our community interested in assisting us in our mission.
