My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

How Wilson arrived:
Wilson brought in by a community member on November 6, 2025.

Why Wilson is the one for you:
Wilson is the definition of quiet confidence - the kind of cat who doesn't make a big fuss, he just gently shows up like, "Hey... wanna hang out?". He moseys forward with the softest expression, like he's already decided you're a friend. Offer him a bite of something tasty and he's happily on board, crunching away while also leaning into your hand for more affection. He's got that calm, cool, "I'm here for the good vibes" sort of personality - not pushy, not shy, just genuinely sweet. If you're looking for a mellow companion who greets you with kindness and settles in beside you like he's known you forever, Wilson's your guy. Bring a carrier when you come say hello - he'll be ready for his next cozy chapter.

At SDHS:
Wilson has been vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. He is now ready for his new home!

More about this shelter

San Diego Humane Society, an open-admission shelter, is creating a more humane world by inspiring compassion and advancing the welfare of animals and people. Our lifesaving safety net has helped San Diego become the largest city in the U.S. to keep healthy and treatable shelter animals from being euthanized. We are a private, independent, nonprofit organization that is not affiliated with any other humane society or society for the prevention of cruelty to animals.

With campuses in El Cajon, Escondido, Oceanside, Ramona and San Diego, we provide animal services for 14 cities within San Diego County. We not only care for 50,000 animals in our communities but also share the expertise we have gained through our innovative programs with shelters nationwide so they can save more lives in their communities.

While our influence is expanding nationally, our top priority is meeting the needs of San Diego. We provide exceptional care for all animals through world-class veterinary medicine, shelter and most of all: love.
