My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Talbina is a sweet senior poodle who is just looking for her forever home. Briefly dispirited by the loss of her former home and family, tiny Talbina (well, she’s about 20 pounds so maybe more medium Talbina) took it hard when she arrived at the shelter but has begun to blossom since she’s been in foster. Talbina is outgoing, going from volunteer to volunteer at Muttville looking for pets and cuddles, and maybe a treat or two, but she also gets along famously with the other mutts. Talbina really thrives in a cozy, cottagecore setting, so she’s willing to turn your house into a home if you’ll just take a chance on her. Can you give this little lady the home for the holidays that she clearly deserves?

If you know who you're interested in, we'll arrange a meeting in person or virtually. If you're still browsing, come to an adoption event!

3.

Additional adoption info

All of our senior mutts are vaccinated, spayed/neutered, microchipped, and given flea/tick/dewormer medication. Regular adoptions are typically $250, and there is no adoption fee for senior adopters and Hospice adoptions, though we love donations to help pay it forward for the next mutt!

Adoption application

Go meet their pets

If you know who you're interested in, fill out our questionnaire at muttville.org/how_to_adopt and we'll arrange a meeting either at our HQ or virtually with your mutt's foster parent. (Many of our lucky mutts live in foster homes!)

If you're still browsing, stop by our extraordinary new home at 750 Florida St. during open hours Tuesday through Sunday 11am-4pm, or come to an adoption event and meet a lot of dogs at once!
