Jamie Foxx is a 6-month-old, neutered, 40 lb (DOB 5/23/25) male Pitbull mix, expected to be a large adult once fully grown. He has a striking, handsome coat and a friendly, gentle demeanor. Jamie is being fostered in the same Houston home where he was born and can transport to the Petfinder-listed city after an approved application, virtual home visit, and reference checks.
Born right in the comfort of his foster home alongside his six siblings, Jamie Foxx has been loved and cared for since day one — and now he’s ready to find his forever family!
Jamie is sweet, friendly, smart, and eager to please. He listens well, responds to commands, and absolutely thrives on affection. He loves playing with his siblings, enjoys toys, and is always up for a good romp in the yard followed by cuddle time. Although he can be a little nervous at first, he warms up beautifully with gentle handling and a calm, reassuring presence.
This handsome boy is getting used to being in a crate and is mostly potty trained, making great progress for his age!
Like all puppies, Jamie will need continued guidance as he grows — learning leash walking, basic manners, and socialization with new people, dogs, and environments. He’s a bright, responsive pup who will blossom with consistency, patience, and positive reinforcement.
Given his young age, Jamie will do best in a home where someone is home more often than they are away to help him learn and thrive. He’s great with other dogs and kids, though he hasn’t met any cats yet.
