My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Jelly Belly - the sweetest mama around! After raising five adorable “mini beans,” this lovely grey-and-white girl is ready to retire from motherhood and enjoy the finer things in life - like sunny naps, chin scratches and uninterrupted snack time.

Much like her candy namesake, Jelly Belly comes in the perfect flavor: equal parts affectionate, playful and irresistible. She’s soft, charming and guaranteed to melt your heart faster than a jellybean in your pocket.

Now that her kittens have all found homes, it’s her turn to be spoiled. Come meet Jelly Belly and discover why life’s just sweeter with her around.

More about this shelter

Founded in 1868, The SF SPCA is a community-supported nonprofit dedicated to saving, protecting and caring for cats and dogs. We do this through immediate care of animals that are homeless, ill or in need of an advocate, but we also work to educate the community, reduce the number of unwanted kittens and puppies through spaying/neutering, and improve the quality of life for animals and their companions.
